Calling All Women - Send us your stories!

We want to hear from you—and all about you and whitewater. The September/October issue of American Whitewater is devoted to women and their stories, so don’t be shy. If you are anywhere on the scale of average to extraordinary, put your thoughts and/or experiences down on paper and send them to us. We’re interested in topics all across the board. What’s it like to represent the minority gender in your sport? Do you think there will eventually be as many avid women paddlers? How might that parity be achieved? Are there any stories that come to mind where your gender played a significant role? And men: what do you think about women and whitewater? Civilized musings welcomed. Our July 6^th deadline is rapidly approaching, so get on your horse and send us some stories, essays, editorials, and photos (please don’t forget to include photographer and credit info). We look forward to hearing from you!
