Brandon, that log was a good 20+ feet under water. It was definitely not a problem. And as for the paddle, we were there and helped look for it. The guys down in Somerset also know and will keep their eyes open.

My buddy Keith lost a paddle in about the same location. We recovered it the next day in the large eddy below crybaby (just past teeth) the next day. I can't get away today to look for it, but I hope it turns up. Will be sure to keep an eye for it next time I'm down.

Wasn't the Deathcastle at 3000cfs or something crazy? I'm guessing the tree blocking the left side after teeth rapid was covered.

I think Adam and Dot have moved into a yurt right next to Beech Narrows to avoid hiking in, definitly let them know. Hope you get it back.

Yesterday around 4 ish I put on the Rockcastle River and ended up having a delightful swim (not my proudest moment) which resulted in me losing my paddle. I lost it in teeth rapid. It's a black Werner bent shaft sidekick with ribbons on the shaft, and has my last name along with my phone number on the blades, also there is a Team Scum ant sticker on the left blade. If anyone finds it, or knows someone who does, PLEASE contact me, my number is (859)358-0912 I am offering a generous reward.

Thank you very much for your help! It's my baby!
