I'm pretty tied up with work / other boating trips / Brit's chorus concert for the rest of this month ...except maybe 27th/28th ... but anytime this winter that it runs I'll be down for day / wkend trips ... lower flows preferred if it's cold ... also wouldn't mind getting in some low water Gauley action and can't wait to get back on the Plateau ... the Park...
Bubba,

I have been watching this too. Wish we knew the draw down plans. Hopefully, the RF will run all winter. Would like to get some runs in there before the end of the year. Let's get over there soon.

For those of you who care, looks like they started drawing the lake down this week. They're releasing just under 900 cfs. They've dropped the lake level 3' in 3 days. They still have 11' left to get to winter pool.

The last two years the spigot didn't open until Dec. b/c it was so dry. When it did it was about 300cfs. If they leave it on at this level then it'll be at winter pool by next week, but I'm thinking they'll step it down before reaching sub-100 levels.
