Editing virtual gages?

I've been looking around the site and I can't find info on how do mess
with virtual gages.

Right now I just want to look at the algorithms used to define them. But
ultimately I may want to edit them.

In particular there are four virtual gages on the Swift River in NH. Mark
Lacroix created them ages ago, but he doesn't remember how to do
it. (I just talked to him a few minutes ago.)

At the time, Mark created several different gages as a test to see
which algorithm would match actual conditions over time.

thanks

Skip,

It used to be that the formula was displayed on the gauge page. That is, in Swift 1 (NH), at the bottom of the page it says "Formula." But there's no formula.

I looked it up in the database.

The formula for Swift 1 is:
x=gauge(56,"flow")*.8541**.006

The formula for Swift 2 is:
x=gauge(56,"flow")**.704544 *.01318

The formula for Swift 3 is:
x=gauge(49,"stage")**3.01798*.00835

The formula for Swift 4 is:
x=(gauge(11110,"stage")+gauge(11118,"stage"))/2

(So Sw4 is the average of Sw2 and Sw3.)

Hope this helps. If you need to change the formula for one of these gauges or another, toss me an email at matt at americanwhitewater dot com. I'll be able to set it up.

Matt, take a look at the VG editor on the stream team page of the new site. Let me know what you think.

Looks pretty good to me. But would you please move the delete button so it isn't next to the edit button.
