Brad,

Ryan will need much more info if you want him to address your problem.

What steps did you go through?

What error massage (or other response) did you receive from the AW server?

Using FireFox v. 2.0, I've never had a problem replying to AW Forum posts. I have no idear what's going on here.

Hmmm, I have had no problems either. Even when I almost expected to! That is, a few times, I have started a reply, gotten waylayed by some other throught or circumstance, and not gotten back to finish the message until MUCH later, by which time I really expected my session may have expired which might then not allow the message to post. When I think of it, I cut/copied my text (to save it on the 'notepad', just in case it didn't post), but it ended up posting no problem! So, I'm really perplexed (in the lack of further details) what might be causing Brad to have problems.

Hey Brad,

Until you figure it out, copy your posts to email to any of us and we will post for you. Sure, it is a pain, but less so than recomposing, or like Rob suggests, copy your post to notepad or similar so you can repost without retyping.

I think I have had some slow responses at times after clicking on Post message. I have gotten out of the habit of copying them first, so apparently, it has not been a problem for me.

Short version,
I logged in at home last night, would post a reply, the site would then ask me to log in again, at which point the reply to the message would be lost.

Then I would try to retype the message, the site would ask me to log in again. I would hit the back key to try and save the message and it would be gone.

Much yelling would then follow.

Finally put in the above post as a test.

Presently posting from work.

Maybe the home computer is killing all my cookies?

Brad, I really know didly about this stuff (you know if you read my post). Anyway, I forget what I was trying to do but I was going nuts. Finally, over the phone someone walked me through it. What happened was unbeknowns to me my wife make it so the computer would not accept cookies. All I had to do was enable cookies. This was only a year ago and up to that point the only thin I knew about cokies were that they tasted yummy and went well with coffee. I didn't even know about 'tools'. If this was the problem you probably figured it out already but I figured it might be a case of 'wow, I cant believe I forgot about that'. This AW site is pretty sweet in some ways since I can do most of the functions from my smart phone.
