Paradoxically while absent from the Forum, I've been working very hard on our new gauging system. In a couple months I've managed to rewrite the entire thing so that it can be centrally managed. Right now it is validating itself and collecting data on www2.americanwhitewater.org.

Meanwhile the old server has been showing its age by slowing down to a near crawl and locking up several times a week. So, the last two weeks I have been fixing that.

This week I have started to fix some of the annoyances about this version of the website, so I'll let you know when those come online.

A couple things have been fixed.

Events & Photos can be edited again.

Since Monday I have been debugging the not-so-sexy registration and membership database. The new site has an updated member center that is supposed to make it easier to become a member and donate. With that comes change address, contact membership office, update contact information, change your preferences, and update gaugebot. All that stuff got updated and now needs testing and review. So, nothing new and shiny since the last update, but work is progressing.
