Gauge ID problem after updating a river reach

I just updated the gauge description for the Cherry River in WV (id=2359). Now I do not see any gauge reading. It appears that the gauge ID was set to 0 (zero). I went back into edit mode and tried to set the gauge ID to 1433 but that does not appear to have any effect. It still is showing up a 0 (zero).

I think I've seen this glitch, too. I've added this as a ticket for fixing/improvement.

This is a bug that requires a fix. It is not an improvement.

Agreed. Earlier today, I bumped this up in priority / severity. It needs to be fixed.
