StreamTeam Members: Please update your links!

With the redesign of the website, the URLs (addresses) for many of the parts of the website have changed. If your river reach descriptions include links to other reaches, please check them. The old addresses were like www.americanwhitewater.org/rivers/id/2378/ ; now they look like www.americanwhitewater.org/content/River_detail_id_2378_ . Please update these links, as the old ones just go to a blank page.

(Please also take this opportunity to check all your links, internal and external.)

Along the same lines, we have many reaches which cross state lines. One way that we've handled that is to have duplicate reach descriptions, where one reach redirects to the other. That way, the reaches get listed in both states, but the StreamTeam Members only need to maintain one reach description. See the North Branch Potomac in both Maryland and West Virginia. If you know of any reaches that cross state lines, and which don't have the handy-dandy redirect (mad props to ST Kevin Miller for the redirect script, by the BTW!), please let me know at RivieraRatt at aol dot com.

Matt is this breaking anywhere? The site should support both methods. The point of the _ was/is to trick Google maps into believing that requests are coming files under a common directory.

Ryan,

Yes, I'm afraid it is breaking. Check out the lynx at the bottom of Lower Cuyahoga Gorge, OH. This river page links to three other reaches (Upper Gorge, Lower Cuyahoga, and Tinker's Creek.) Butt clicking on any of them yields a blank page.
