Todd,

Those are interesting little glitches.

If you were the web developer, what priority would you assign to fixing them?

Matt,

I would treat both the issues related to the logo as very high priority as they really stand out and take away from the site. The fix I would suggest is to redesign the top menu bar so that it does not have adjustable font size for the menu options (i.e. Our Organization, Support AW, Community, River Info, Library, etc.), Small font size seems to be what is causing the over lapping border issue. [pinecrick.net] With this I would suggest simplifying the color scheme of this menu, which would likely take care of the problem with the background color issue on the logo graphic.[pinecrick.net] (Eliminating the page visit history string that is displayed in the menu might provide a cleaner look to the menu bar as well).

On the other issues, it might be well worth spending the time to fix them now as opposed to doing it later when new development might make a fix even more complicated and time consuming. This issue appears in both IE and FF so it would not appear to be related to browser compatibility etc, Maybe add more cell padding?[pinecrick.net]

With this let me say that the site really is an incredible resource for paddlers and everyone who has put hard work in on it should be highly commended. I just hate to see small cosmetic issues overshadow the underlying quality of the website. It is really a one of a kind resource that AW should be proud of. I appologize sincerely if these seems like insignificant issues, but I truly believe they detract from the site enough to merrit a fix.

Many thanks,

Todd

This is all good feedback. The other issue that has been bothering me is the serif font for article titles.
