OK ... here's the situation....
Returning from FL tomorrow, dinner with friend in Greenville,SC then probably staying in Greenville or may drive a bit toward the Sat destination before bedding down.
My Mamba is in Augusta with my old buddy Wayne, so I wouldn't have to drag it all the way to FL and back, and he's using it as an excuse so that he must go to the Cheoah... reality - it would be a couple hrs out of the way, but I could get it on the way to Greenville if I divert from the Cheoah plan .. put would be a bit of a pain. I'm not sure if it's the best boat for Watauga .. but if YT can survive it in his Diesel... I'm hoping I'll fair OK as well... thoughts from those that know the run and know my skills?
If the Watauga is high Sat ... would still be up for Cheoah or other fun run ... then maybe Watuaga on Sat ... however, at this point I'm strongly leaning toward grabbing Brit from my Mom early Sun and doing a boat with her somewhere for Father's Day ... whatever's running ... Little, Nanty, etc.

So is anyone going to run the Cheoah this weekend?

I'm still leaning that way Elizabeth ... better logistics for doing something with Brit on Sun ... but if my arm is twisted for elsewhere .... the plan will all come together for everyone hopefully tomorrow. You may end up with a choice of runs as the folks may be going all over. Personally I like the Cheoah a whole lot ... but there's a lot of runs I haven't done yet, like the Watauga that I really want to do.
