Site look funky?
Your browser is either Internet Explorer (hit refresh (F5) several times due to a bug in Microsoft's code
that we can't work around) or is 10 years old and
standards-based layouts and styling confuse it.
Consider updating. One excellent option is
Mozilla Firefox, versions of which are available for Linux, Mac and Windows. Safari 1.0+ and IE 6.0+ are also supported.

For the Elkhorn, 24 hr is a good rule of thumb:
24 hr for the pulse from regional rain events to hit the Forks.
24 hr halflife for the flow. By that I mean that a 1000 cfs flow without further rain will reduce to 500 cfs in roughly 24 hr, or a 500 cfs will go to 250 in about that time.
Finally, the Elkhorn is runable at 250 cfs or even a bit lower.
So, I think it's safe to plan for a run tomorrow. I wish I could go, but I'm taking dancing lessons (talk about scary!!!).

Oh, also from about 500 cfs to 4000 cfs, the conversion to feet is easy, with about one foot per 1000 cfs.
The Elkhorn was just made to be easy for the minimally math-literate.
Yes at the take out, but....lol I don't think it will happen but if the Muddy gets going better, I may bail out of the elkhorn. That is pretty unlikely I think, but we will see.
