Yes, Virginia, there is whitewater in Ohio.
Whiteoak Creek outside of Georgetown, Ohio is running a big 5000 cfs, think Lower G size surf waves. It's gets pretty continous at these levels at it's not a place of a weak roll. Class III+/IV- at high water. The next watershed east, Straight Creek, would be a run today too. However, access isn't as good.
Stonelick Creek in Clermont Co. east of Cincinnati should be a run today also, there isn't an online gauge for this one. It's a bit steep and creeky, one ledge is probably 6' or so. There are some "secret" steep creeks that run into this creek that may be a run this morning, but I haven't been on any of them.
One other one that I've never ran but looks pretty good is Four Mile Creek across the river from Mayville. This one is fairly steep and pretty short, but looks like it would be a hoot.
Unfortunately, I have to work today and won't be able to sample any of this water.
