Hi All,
Can only day trip from work, and can't be there before 1pm, but would love to do the RFG Sat if it's 170 - 1000. Right now it's 365 and dropping.

Cool Robby, hopefully YT too. It's dropping slow now, think we'll be fine tomorrow for an ELF with probably a great level to swim the cave at Fist and El Ho. I will be there 12 - 1 range, will try to be as early as possible. YT I have your number, Robby why don't you touch base with us as well. Hope some more of you decide to tag along ... I'll do the RFG at ELF all day over the Ocoee... and I really like the Ocoee... it's that much fun. If you are solid on the Upper Ocoee, and have precise boat handling skills, you're ready for the RFG at ELF. Bring your elbow pads though! I'm hoping to get 2 runs in. Woo Hoo!

Hey ya'll, I just got off the Rockcastle with Bart, Zack, Dot and Adam. Way cool. Bart is wanting to see the RF at this level and I gave him Gerald's and YT's numbers. Get him in your trip. Good brother with a solid combat roll in an open boat. Ya'll have fun. I can't go.

A bunch of us (12) paddled down the Russell Fork Gorge on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Wes, sorry you missed the 1st run down and sorry I missed the 2nd one.

Please click on the link below and check out some pics I took while there yesterday. Thanks to everybody who went and a special thank you to Gerald Delong for leading us down safely and showing us the fun we all had.

The RFG was for sure another great weekend, got to swim into and out of fist (on purpose) and have video of it I'll be posting here in the next couple days for everyone's edification. Really interesting experience that makes me respect that rapid, as well as know how to deal with a worst case scenario. Jumping out from underneath el-horrendo is always a highlight of a low water run, and thanks for everyone helping my non-boater friends partake, its an experience they won't soon forget. This run is so dynamic and so much fun because it changes everytime, and keeps you on your toes. See ya'll out there next time she's runnin!
