They are close. I guess it depends on the motivation of the crowd. I am more inclined to get one run in on something and head back to hang with Christine. I don't want to abuse my day pass. But you guys can do that and I will meet you for a run on one or the other.

What I would like to do ...

Will likely drive down early Sat or to Knox Fri night and want to do Cheoah fairly early at Brent's pace in order to do laps on the Cascades afterward til dark. I think it's about 35 mi from Tapoco (Cheoah TO to Cascades) and will take about an hour probably to get there. After Cascades blaze to Greenville to meet Ana for late dinner and spend night there ... this means I can't really carpool with anyone ... sorry. BTW, if you are heading to Tallulah, consider staying at NOC Hostel room. Full community kitchen, hot showers, foam sleeping pad, heaters for I think about $10 as I recall .. haven't done it in a while. River's End with delicious hot Sherpa rice and hot tea is open til 7pm. They'll tape your key to the convenience store door after closing.

Sun want to do Tallulah (finally?) ... don't know if any of our Green racer crowd will be there or staying on the Green for Sun. I want to try the Green, just don't want to do my first run this time of year ... maybe next summer. I'm told that Tallulah runs don't take long, so maybe a second lap there then or Sect IV to end the day? Would be cool to do 4 rivers in 2 days, but the Chattooga is only 1.6 ... still a fun level, but I'm sure not on par with Tallulah.

Forecast looks great ... highs in low 60's and mostly sunny both days!

I would like to do both Saturday and if I stay around the NOC and there are people to run the Cascades with on Sunday I will stay and do laps, it would be less driving.
But if there is no one to paddle with on Sunday I will see if I can paddle the Tallulah
with Wes and then drive home. Mark D.

Looks like I'm gonna have a couple of hot boater chicks that are wanting to try some sections on the Nanty sooooo.....looks like I'm prolly gonna press the easy button and do laps on the Cascades to avoid having to load and and drive to Treeoah.

Hopefully I will see you guys out there at some point
