That's right folks it is that time of year again. A group of about 30 or so will be hitting the Elkhorn this Saturday. We will be putting on at the forks around Noon boater time. So if you want to join us come on out. If you want to avoid us then show up at another time so we're not in your way at the put in. It gets a littler crowed but Old Man camp ground dude will sure be there to shake his finger at us, take our money and keep us in line.
I have attached some information about the trip. If you are interested email or call me.

Yes Charlie is going to Shred it up in his Jackson Funniest Baby. He was actually born with his own paddle and boat. Eric and I got together and made this experimental brew for Mackenzie's pregnancy and it worked. See attachment.
“Sigh” . . . the truth is Charlie has double ear infections and we cant seem to shake the fever right now. I will attempt to lead the group down the forks without my buddy, Mackenzie. I think Charlie and Mackenzie will make an appearance Saturday after the float at Larimore's farm. Heather I will email you the map to the farm.
it appeared last night that the north fork was the culprit, the water was much murkier. All the cascades and small feeder creeks were cranking last night too. Real perty.
So the canoe trip was a success. We managed to put on the river and make it to our take before dark. Well 36 out of 38 of us made it all the way down. Hey at least we all had PFD's on this year for the 1.8' level. So we aimed for noon and didn’t put on until 3, I said boater time, right? So plan accordingly next year.
So those of you who have been on the Elkhorn Sunday and Monday have you seen anything unusual on the old railroad pillar at S turn rapid!?! Maybe a green fiberglass canoe? I know I know fiberglass!?
If so what kind of shape is the boat in? Is it ripped in half or could some duck tape fix it up for a empty float out?
Also THANKS to all the BWA members on the Korn Saturday to watch and help out with the canoe rescues. Good times had by all and good stories by the campfire.
Theres a guy here that posted a found canoe paddle on the elkhorn. I dont have his e-mail but he should be contacting Ledgeman. [www.vikingcanoeclubforum.org]
