Damn! I believe that's the largest group of BWA'rs I've ever paddled with on one trip. 20 boaters and we weren't crowding each other in any of the rapids.

It looks like the river peaked out just before 10 am at Williamsburg at 2050 cfs, so I'm going to call the official level for the trip 2000 cfs. Nice level and a really nice day.

If we could just find a way to get rid of a couple miles of the bottom:^).

The 2000 level and low lake level doesn't make the bottom near the pain in the butt it was when the lake was higher.

Had a great time. Let's do it again soon.

A great day indeed. Sure was nice not having to drive out of state for once, and to get to paddle an incredibly beautiful section of the Cumberland for the first time was a treat.
A few Swimmys, Heather nailing all her combat rolls, entertainment at Screaming Right, Last Drop, sunburned shoulders...oh yeah. Thanks everyone for the good day.

Please, more rain.

Thanks for letting me come along with all you wonderful people. Now that is what the BWA is all about! Great weather, great water, great to not have to drive 5 hours. All this pales though when I think of the awesome group of people I had the privilege to spend the day with. Thank you, each of you for a day of enrichment.

I hope you enjoy the pics.

All:
Thanks for the great company, that was a great trip. I had a blast and hope we can all do it again soon. Excluding the BWA clinics, this had to be the largest BWA group trip that I have ever been on.

Allen

P.S. Thanks for the great pics Dallas

It was a great group, and I'd like to thank you all for waiting while I went to Sheltowee Trace Outfitters for a helmet. Anyone want to compete with me for the BWA Dumbass of the Month award? There is a prize!

It was great paddling with all of you on Saturday. Thanks Brandon for talking me into swimming that last rapid. Good times.

Thanks ya'll!
Let's do it again. Soon!

Man, that looks cool. I thought I had to be crazy as I drove over the Cumberland on I-75 Thursday afternoon, heading away from water into one of the most drought stricken areas in the US. However, the rain gods smiled on me in the southern appalachians. I'll save the trip report for the regular meeting, but suffice it to say I was glad to have made the journey.
