I have some video, I can edit and get it online, or hand it over to Todd to include in the final presentation. Just let me know. Nice summaries yall! And thanks for the pics Dallas.

Nice job everyone. A great day spent cleaning up a beautiful place.

Big HAND for getting the impossible done!

It was the the best BWA effort since I've been a member. Thanks Allen for making it happen and BIG thanks to Kyle Meserve, Fred and Debbie Coates for their willingness to drive in the creekbottom! I thought as I watched Fred make that first trip across the creek that it was going to make or break the cleanup. They deserve a delux car wash for hauling all that nasty stuff ;-)

I have a ton of pictures that I will get uploaded. I will have them on a CD to give to Todd at tomorrow's SC meeting. I have attached a couple to start with.

Kyle, Heather, and I loaded the last load of scrap metal yesterday afternoon. I spoke with Kyle this morning and the final tally on lbs of scrap metal is 3460 lbs. This ended up making the club approximately $180. Kyle will bring the money to the club meeting Tuesday night. This should more than cover our expenses for the cleanup.

We had a contest among the participants where they guessed the total wieght of the scrap metal collected in the cleanup. The winner gets a pair of hand paddles and a NPFF T-shirt.

The winner is smileys with beer Debbie Coates.

Congratulations Debbie, you certainly know your trash! I can't believe we picked up almost 2 tons of that stuff...

Excellent. Congratulations, Debbie. I was over by 178 lbs.

In addition to the T-shirt, there is a CD and a couple of stickers.

Also, I spoke with Mark Barrett at the Franklin County Judge Executive's Office this morning, and they are sending someone out to pick up the tires and plastic.

I counted 13 tires all together. It seems like they grow on trees along the river.
