Upper or Lower White's ? Was it runnin good ? Is there an area gauge which usually correlates ?
I've run lower but have been told upper section is not good for open boats. . .

lower. first time on it so dont have a frame of reference. i think it was medium level. one of my new fav runs though. stunning scenery, nice class 3 drops w/o being too intimidating for someone who hasnt paddled much in the last 3 years (me).

Yeah, one of my favorites too. I guess I've run it a half dozen times. After confluence with Piney (?)from the left, there are some big holes on the way out. Shuttle is reasonable. There is a gauge at the put-in on the bridge piling, and I think it was about a foot for minimum. Beautiful all the way 'round !
