Are we going to have an area for stuff to sale, buy, or trade?

If there is going to have a "stuff to sale, buy, or trade", how about putting it in the AW main forum for more exposure.

my opinion on this is to just go ahead and post the boating related for sale stuff in the General forum and then the non boating related stuff into the lounge?

The old FSoT was not heavily used and the way that current posts bubble up to the top it shouldnt be an issue.

Before I say this, I'm fine either way with what is decided.

However, I assume that some people in the old forum might periodically go check that section when they're looking for something and all of the FSoT posts are right there in order even if its been a week since the last post. If we post to the general section of this forum then they'll be covered up in a day and when someone is actually looking for a boat for sale they'll have to dig back through all the old pages.

Just b/c there wasn't a ton of posts made to the old forum, doesn't mean it didn't get used by people checking in once a week and seeing what was new (to them).

Sorry for the delay and per the BWA SC last night there is now a "Boats and Gear For Sale" section. Bring on the deals!

I tried to post in that forum and it tells me I don't have rights.

Just a thought, but it seems to me that if we could get the AW to initiate a thread on their forum it would serve the BWA and provide for both a larger audience as well as a bigger selection of equipment. AW website registration is a pretty significant population isn't it?
