Hello All;

At last nights meeting I was a ready to whip out my computer club and start hammering on this crappy forum. There was much discussion about the new forum and by the time the conversation was through I am now ready to give it a chance. Why you might ask......


It all has to do with the incredible power of "OPEN SOURCE".

Open source is actually just a simple designation for software that has an open code, witch in turn means that anyone that can program can download the software and actually view and edit the programs lines of code and interface with other programs that are also open source.

This all in turn means that when it is said and done we would have the ability to make a boater specific forum software. I am very excited about all this and I hope that we can all be patient enough to wait and see what this turns into..
