Newbie carnage

As I posted last night, I took two people, even newer than myself, down the lower Elkhorn today. The carnage was definitely there! There was a shredded dry top, a helmet that is gouged horrifically, a wonderfully bent paddle, some scrapped knuckles and from the looks of it, some big time bruises tomorrow. Its just a shame Kris wasn't there with the video camera, because evidently it looked pretty bad. I wouldn't know, for I spent the whole time upside down getting the S**T beat out of me. haha but it was fun. The other newbies did great.

I bet you are sorry Kris. It wasn't bad, just a few hard hits. Just goes to show, always wear a helmet regardless how tough you think the water is.
It was fun and now I have more of a reason to get my new paddle.
