Hey I enjoyed seeing everybody at the meeting last night. It has been too long. The food at Panda Cuisine is awesome! Thanks to Dot for turning us on to it.

It was easier to hear everyone at this location too.

I thought it was a good setting as well. Easier to hear and great big screen TV as well for programs

I liked a lot of things about it but was surprised by the price of the food. I am all for eating somewhere with good food and I don't mind paying for it. I only mention this because, in my mind, it opens up a lot more potential meeting places if we drop the cheap food requirement. I am all for having meetings at this location. Great job finding this new locations!!

If we move there more "permanently", we can open discussions up regarding some type of pre fixe menu option.

The SC discussed food cost and it was one of the cons. As was the potential for some folks not to enjoy asian fare. Beer costs weren't the best, but I would recommend going the pitcher route and sharing with another. I think pitchers are ~$12.

The last two weeks I've gotten wings ($4), noodles ($4), soup ($2.50) and dumplings ($4). All were cheap and nice sized portions.

Thinking of alternative places with a "meeting" room type setting. Malone's banquet rooms, above Sal's, comes to mind but I still struggle with much more. And Malone's would be twice $ of PC.

my vote is to stick with Panda.

unless they try to charge me $22 for 2 beers again.

Panda G is not really convenient for us out of towners but the food, sound levels and AV capabilities were excellent. I'm wondering however if the PG is actually too small? We were busting at the seams Tuesday with 44 people present and every seat taken.

I had the same thought about how even just a few more folks would fit and it be good for the meeting.

I agree with Barry that the food and sound was good and that it was a great location... for people who live in central Lexington.

Actually, although the room was fairly full, there were about a dozen empty chairs. Additionally, they have the ability to move extra tables into that room. I think that 60 folks is going to be about the max number we can handle there.

It's not great for out-of-towners and the food and beer prices aren't the best, but I've yet to see a perfect meeting place for us, and we haven't settled on a place yet. We have committed to meeting there through December, I would recommend that everyone keep your nose to the ground and keep searching between now and then. That perfect meeting place may be out there, just waiting for us to stumble onto it.
