Watch out... I have now have access to post, so you now have Mrs. Ledgeman and Mrs. Bubba online!
Thanks for all of the kudos for the AW award - I appreciate it. I was glad to help out, because I didn't want to see hundreds of hungry, cranky, drunken paddlers and fans, or have people not come back next year b/c we didn't have the food that the advertising promised. But it doesn't compare to what Bubba, and the several other lead volunteers, did this year, and every year, to make the NPFF and Roadshows happen. I hope to see you all there next year, volunteering in some way!
I know this is the wrong thread, but I'm sick of seeing new posts in the other threads.

I'm just glad to see everyone finally working toward a positive resolution on the Elkhorn Acres issue. I know that when the original donors made that happen, they did so in an effort TO BRING PEOPLE TOGETHER around paddling, not to create this chaos or provide a platform for power trips. Cheers to everyone attempting to work together toward the answer! If everyone just remembers to work toward a shared goal that remains true to respecting what the original donors did for us in securing EA, and what is truly best for EVERYONE now, I know the best path will reveal itself.
