AZ Salt 2 - US 60 to Hwy 288 above Roosevelt Reservoir permit Lottery for river permits Mar 1 through May 15. Applications due Jan 15.
CO Dolores 06. Gateway to Colorado River (UT) permit Required permit can be obtained by calling the Moab BLM field office for a reservation.
CO Yampa 06. Deerlodge Park to Split Mountain CG permit Permits required year around. Lottery for high-use season second weeked in May to second weekend in July with applications due Feb 1.
ID Bruneau Indian Hot Springs to 8 miles South of Bruneau permit Self issue permit can be downloaded from BLM website, and are available at self registration stations at the put in and take out.
ID Jarbidge Murphy Hot Springs to Bruneau River (Indian Hot Springs) permit Self issue permit can be downloaded from BLM website.
ID Salmon 6 - Corn Creek to Vinegar Creek (The Main) permit All boaters must have a permit. There are eight launches per day allowed on the Main Salmon during the controlled season - June 20 thru September 7 - and these are assigned through the 4 Rivers Lottery System
ID Salmon, Middle Fork 1 - Marsh Creek to Boundary Creek permit Requires a permit.
ID Salmon, Middle Fork 2 - Boundary Creek (Dagger Falls) to Cache Bar (near Salmon R.) permit All boaters must have a permit with heavy use season between June 1st and Sept 1st assigned through the 4 Rivers Lottery System. Applications due January 31.
ID Selway 1 - Paradise to Selway Falls permit All boaters must have a permit. There is one launch per day during the controlled season - May 15 through July 31 - and these are assigned through the 4 Rivers Lottery System. Application due January 31.
ID Snake I) Hells Canyon Dam to Pittsburg Landing permit Three private permit launches each day from Friday preceding Memorial Day weekend through September 10th issued through 4 Rivers Lottery. Outside of this season, self issue permits are available.
MT Smith Camp Baker to Eden Bridge permit Permits issued through a lottery managed by Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks.
NM Rio Chama 4. El Vado Lake to Abiquiu Reservoir permit Permits required. Weekend launch dates May 1 through Labor Day distributed by lottery with application due before January 31.
OR Deschutes K. US 26 (Warm Springs) to Sherars Falls permit Boater pass available through online reservation system. Some dates have limited launches available.
OR Deschutes L. Sherar's Falls to Columbia River permit Boater pass available through online reservation system. Some dates have limited launches available.
OR John Day 2. Service Creek to Clarno permit Reservation system for launches which are capped at 19 per day.
OR John Day 3. Clarno to Cottonwood permit For float trips during the primary boating season of May 20–July 10, advance permit reservations are required. Permits can be obtained on a first come, first served basis, starting on March 1 and then again on May 1. Launches are capped at 9 per day.
OR Owyhee 3. Three Forks to Rome permit Self issue permit can be downloaded from BLM website.
OR Owyhee 4. Rome to Birch Creek or Leslie Gulch permit Self issue permit can be downloaded from BLM website.
OR Rogue 5. Grave Creek (Galice) to Foster Bar (Agness) (34 miles) permit Lottery for permits issued during regulated use season of May 15 through October 15.
UT Colorado 15. Westwater to Rose Ranch (Westwater Canyon) permit Permits available through a reservation system. Dates become available two months in advance.
UT Colorado 17. Moab to Powell Reservoir (Cataract Canyon) permit Permits are available on a reservation basis starting the first business day in January. Currently no daily launch limits.
UT Green 2- Lodore to Echo Park (CO) permit Permits required year around. Lottery for high-use season second weeked in May to second weekend in September with applications due Feb 1.
UT Green 4- Ouray to Green River Town permit Permits required. Launch reservations may be reserved up to five months in advance. Issued on a first come, first serve basis via telephone or in person.
UT Green 5- Green River Town to Colorado Confluence permit A permit is required for all overnight flat water trips in Canyonlands. The BLM manages permits upstream of the Park boundary.
UT San Juan 2. Mexican Hat to Clay Hills Crossing permit Permit required year around with lottery for trips March 1 through October 31. Applications must be received by February 1st.
