White Salmon mouth

Description: The White Salmon joins the Columbia at the
Bonneville Pool formed by Bonneville Dam. This
area is known as an In Lieu site for use by the tribes
and is part of the mitigation provided to the tribes
for inundation of their accustomed fishing sites
with the creation of the reservoir. The Highway 14
bridge and railroad bridge cross the river as it joins
the Columbia. Mt. Hood is visible in the distance.
