If anyone has ever seen Bridal viel, its a super mellow drop you basically have to seal launch
from. The water is mellow below and the whole thing could be classed as a II- Its pretty much like
riding a kayak down a slide. Everybody mellow...no need to go nerd patrol on this one. Ive seen the
youtube video from this descent, just punch in arbuckle simpson, its the video with all the reggea
tunes, i did see helmet and pfd and the creek was like a baby. go chill. Edit

"a rescue team below the falls" just means there were a bunch of ignorants who let their friend do
something stupid, as ill'concieved as this was I cant imagine what a "rescue" by them would have
looked like. If your going to be a kayaker respect the sport and always take what precautions you
can. You'll give us all a bad rap as a bunch of fools too. take it off. Edit

The best "safety" you're firends could've given you was to make you wear your helmet and PFD. This
really isn't a good picture for AW, who tries to keep steams open. Imagine pending legislature, and
someone shows them this picture, and says "look what sort of boating AW supports." It just looks
bad. You're lucky you didn't get hurt, better boaters have gotten hurt or died while taking every
precaution possible, other than just not boating. Edit

Unseen in the photo is a rescue team below the waterfall. (just to explain the absence of a helmet
or jacket.) Edit
