| Description: |
Sunderlands has always seemed one of the more powerful rapids to me. It is short, but relatively steep and the whole power of the river funnels into this narrow chute with no obstructions to slow it down. About 3 big holes lurk at the bottom center, river right. The standard route is to go down the center then charge to the left near the bottom. It is so fast and powerful, that I am never quite sure what happened afterwards! |
