Open boater Eli Helbert at Rapid Transit in the 2007 Green Race. This picture shows the crack/slot/channel along the river right wall that can lure in the unsuspecting boater who is blown too far right by the curler above. Things can work out just fine over in crack-alley, but smart money gets his or her paddle off to the left side of the boat in a hurry to avoid paddle/elbow/knuckle damage.
