| Description: | When coming up to this rapid you will see a horizon. The boulder, Blockhead, will be on river right. There's a big rock in the middle of the river that can't be seen at this level. However you still don't want to go river middle because you will plunge into a hole and your boat will be swamped and you will surely swim regardless of your boats flotation...Stay far river left and you'll do just fine. This run is not reccomended for beginners at this level. The current is moving fast and there are very few banks to swim to if you do swamp. And remember; "Experienced paddlers always wear their life jackets." I've always worn mine since I hearing this quote... | |||
