| Account | Looking back upstream from the bottom of Faith Healer. This massive log jam has formed just upstream of Faith Healer. The logs have effectively formed a huge dam (approximately 30' high) and gravels have filled in behind it. As of the date this picture was taken, you could portage on the left and scramble down to a good launch rock. Looking downstream from the top of Faith Healer. The river disappears around a corner to the left where it squeezes through a narrow slot in the bedrock. This slot is nearly impossible to scout--it won't give you any problems unless there were wood in it. |
