| Account | This is the most significant rapid in the first gorge. Consider it a warm-up for the drops in the second gorge. The entrance to the second gorge is difficult to scout. A ledge on the left allows a bit of a peek. There are good eddies behind the two big boulders. This is one of the more technical rapids on the river. You can sneak it on the left or run the center chute. The drop just above High Bridge. This is the lower half of the drop. The trick is getting lined up correctly at the top by catching the eddy just above. |
