| Account | There were some nice "pocket" waves at the bottom of this slide. This was a beautiful boulder garden. The gradient is much greater than it appears, take a look at the large evergreen trees on the island for a sense of scale. While driving on the way to the Gulf Hagas I came to an abrupt stop in Rumford at the site of Pennacook Falls. These three drops total 176' in total gradient. The 1st Pitch is massive. The 2nd and 3rd are equally impressive, but were runnable. The next time I make the trip to ME I plan on stopping for a little park n huck. |
