| Account | Hotel California is one of the few named features on this river. It can be a really nasty hole at levels higher than 3'. At 2.5' and lower one can punch through the middle. Any higher and you want to stay out of the meat of it by punching the right eddyline above the hole. This is the preferred route at any level. It got it's name because "you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave". Between 2-3' (ideally 2.5') 3 extraordinary waves form right above the take-out.
