| Account | Norton Mill Creek just above putin for Section 00 run Norton Mill Creek spills into the surprisingly large Chattooga River just above Section 00 put in I thought this drop unrunnable after a low water scout. Section 00 shattered my low water impressions on this trip. Small but difficult drop due to thin line between pothole river left and log river right backed up by undercut on both sides Approach to rapid above Alleyway. Limited eddies at bottom and log sieve just downstream. Small waterfall by moss covered cliff in heart of alleyway This beautiful placid float belies the hazard just downstream Must make move or easy portage around wood hazard This drop may go at higher water and would be difficult to portage at very high water. Tight diagonal ledge between undercut and potholes with knuckle banging potential bottom right An easier drop on 00 |
