Description: This section of the Sandy is very continuous and unstable. The rapids are changing year to year. The largest hazard is wood, and there is usually a lot of it. In 2010 the river diverted at one point and went through the forest, mandating a 30 min portage. If you can locate this spot, put in below it. The run would be a fantastic high water run if it wasn't for the threat of wood. As it is, low water is recommended, resulting in a class III-III+ trip rapid wise, but the stress level is higher than that because of the wood hazards.
