reason to hit this strech. Shallow waters and rocky rapids can drive you mad. Edit
watershed...i'm talking about the ACTUAL guage on the Middle River that i posted below on the USGS
site Edit
tribs like lewis creek after verona...like you said take a look its worth it for the fishing (no
pressure) caught 22 small mouth last sunday...and a piece of metal in my foot(there is some junk in
this stretch) the guage said 4.5 ....probably not 2 ft higher than when you ran either Edit
the river is lower than it was at 2.00 Edit
think the guage is inaccurate, or just wrong. (good run, a little scrape but no dragging). take out
at the KOA to avoide the most shallow parts Edit
draging, 2.5 would be enjoyable. fishing is great and the waterfall is nice @the KOA (from
tributary not on middle). not any white water to speak of @1.91 Edit
have any idea of what a good level is though, if the water on the middle was up chances are nearby
rivs like the north, south, and s.f. shenandoah would be a better day spent
the Shenandoah River and not the North fork. Heck their water sheads are seperated by a
mountain.<br>

Not that many people run the middle for it's white water....
