In 2009 a group of paddlers attempted to paddle the section from Riverbend Campground to Schaefer Lake trail. The group reported numerous log jams, many without a good place to take out and without a way to portage without going thru thick brush and over fallen trees.
No rapids entered. If you know names, and locations of the rapids please contact and advise the StreamTeam member for this run.

out at the Schaefer Lake trail. Schaefer Creek is too far from the road to be a feasible put-in.
There were numerous log jams, many without a good place to take out and without a way to portage
without going thru thick brush and over fallen trees. In 4 and a half hours, we did about 2 miles.
