Gauge Description:
Based on a recommendation by Steve Ettinger. Please note that this is an "indicator gage," from a nearby stream in the same watershed. Such indicator gages are best used as a guide--a way to figure out whether it's even worth looking at the stream or not. Gauge Information

much scraping. The gauge corellations that afternoon were as follows: Blackwater @ Davis 4.3 = 700
to 800 cfs Blackwater NR Davis 3.5 = 500 cfs This will be my min. level, NOT 300 cfs as suggested
min. level indicated. This is a scenic little stream with an easy shuttle and believe it or not
contains horseshoe shaped ledges for the first 3rd of the run. Walter Haydel McHenry, MD Edit
