River Description
The put-in is on tribal land (of the Grand Portage band Ojibway) and may be disputed. There is a
1/3 mile portage around Cascades. Avoid confrontation with landowner at site of former border
bridge in Pigeon River. Take-out is 150 yds below old bridge.
