River Description

A fairly long reach, mostly good canoe-cruising, 8 miles W of community of Rock, MI.

In fact, aerial recon (via Google Satellite view) of the whole stretch fails to show any discernable rapids (other than maybe a couple rock-garden shoals). The best rapids in evidence are on the West Branch, immediately above it's confluece with this run.
