Other than the falls the rest is not too great. The falls is deep in the right places. At lower
levels you can hit rocks if you don't boof it a bit. You can walk behind the falls which is cool.
It runs more often than one would think because it drains a large watershed above. Heath Damron

There's a roadside 18 footer with an open pool at the bottom not too far upstream from the New. If
memory serves me correctly, don't run the falls too far left or right. Definitely scout before
going over. This was the first big drop I paddled along with folks from Marshall. Upstream and
downstream of the falls there are some class III maybe low IV rapids. This creek is mostly roadside
or not too far from the road. I think it takes a lot of rain to get it going though. Edit
