River Description

Logistics: To reach the put-in, turn on Ingalls Creek Road from Highway 97 (nearest town Peshastin/Leavenworth). This will be a right for those traveling south and a left for those traveling North. The bridge imediately over Peshastin Creek is the take-out. An alternate take out is upriver, on the highway at a long pull out, at the confluence of Ingalls and Peshastin Creek, or you could just continue down Peshastin Creek. To reach the put-in, continue up Ingalls Creek Road, a little more than a mile, to a locked gate at an old bridge.

Description: The put-in is also the trailhead for Ingalls Creek trail, for those who wish to see what is up stream. Standing on the bridge, the biggest rapids can all be seen down stream. After the first series of rapids, the run backs down to technical/fast class III easy IV-. If more of the run was like the first couple hundred yards, it would be a classic. Luckily the shuttle is short, so laps can easily be done. This run is a great way to round out a day on the Wenatchee or add on some whitewater to a trip down Peshastin Creek.
