Too low for any play? (We need your input to more fully characterize what happens at different flows. Add a comment or report!) Gauge (1619 sq.mi. drainage) is just a tenth of a mile away, so very accurately reflects actual flows. |
River Description
A short rocky rapids created by an old rock weir. Good for beginners to practice peel-outs and
deep enough for enders.
The "George and Weezy" picture was taken during a severe thunder storm complete with
hail, nearby tornadoes and flash floods. The flow in the picture is about 600 cfs and
quickly went much higher.
To get there, take Hwy.4 south out of Jefferson, IA.
