River Description
See reach #4155
Kentucky Grassy
Creek for a detailed description of this super fun IV creek!
Good fun creekin. A few really tight drops and slides on the section below the Gateway Motel. It
would be advisable to scout this section before running it due to the tight nature of the stream
and lumber.
Russell Fork Gorge runners will recognize it as the state-line. It meets the Russell on river right
about a half mile below Climax. The Kentucky end of the state-line train tunnel is just upstream
(and 100ft above) on river left.
