a great beginner run with drop/pool rapids. Great for practicing basic skills like ferries and
eddying out. The actual Chutes are a little pushy with swirly eddy lines. For a great description
plus pictures of the drop, go to www.canoecolorado.com and then click "Trip Information." Find the
link on Class II runs and find the info on this run. We just tried to put in at the parking lot
near C470 but it has been closed due to construction at the reservoir (July 2007). Find parking off
Santa Fe. When headed north, turn left before the strip mall and park at the Nature Center.
