River Description
The put-in is just below the confluence of Chestnut Knob Fork near the second bridge crossing
Laurel Creek on WV 41 coming from Quinnimont, This run has a even distribution of gradient. It is
usually infested with trees. There is or was a six foot crumbling dam about mile from take-out
that is best run on river left. It is not known how recent (2006) high water events have affected
this run.
