River Description
There is an infinite number of ways to run this river, everytime there's a split in the river,
the splits have different rapids.
Check out the drop above and then below the bridge on Little Woodhull, the small creek you paddle
by after Bump and Run.
We've taken less than 10 minutes to run this section, and we've also taken over 3 hrs. Have
fun!

alternative put-in on the Little Woodhull. Likewise, the Map and Directions tabs for the middle
section of Woodhull Creek (http://www.americanwhitewater.org/content/River/detail/id/5063/) show
the wrong put-in and takeout for that section -- both are shown as being on the Little Woodhull
instead of the main Woodhull. Read the verbal descriptions on the RiverMain tabs of both sections
for the correct put-ins.
and before the second surf hole . It will be easy to get out but has proven a challenge in pinning
one paddler. USE caution. Will update when it is out. Thanks Edit
at low levels, refeeding boil. USE CAUTION have a throwrope and SCOUT when in doubt. safe route

hole at a low to medium level. He couldnt blast the hole in a play boat. A creased entrance to the
hole is further locked by a 4 meter diameter boil 1 meter off the drop. Its a water pin. He side
surfed the trough for 5 minutes before he pulled his skirt and caught a rope, but was recirclulated
while holding the rope. His partner pulled with full power, and he escaped, barely. Edit
bridge at the Woodhull takeout was showing 5.5 blocks on the center pillar and the Black gauge was
8.9 feet. I estimate the level of the Little Woodhull as Class 4, and the Woodhull as Class 4. None
of us ran Virginia's as it looks very retentive. One of our class 5 boaters ran the center power
slide next to Virginia's (the rest of us "clucked".)
bridge at the Woodhull takeout was showing 7.0 blocks on the center pillar and the Black gauge was
7.0 feet. I estimate the level of the Little Woodhull as Class 3, and the Woodhull as Class 3. We
all ran Virginia's no problem.
