River Description

Welcome to Pitt Falls, the bogus stream set up so that StreamKeepers can recognize and avoid some of the pitfalls that I've seen.<br>
<br>
What's wrong with this picture???<br><br><br>
<br>
Well, the photo is too big for the page, so the text next to it wraps in some funkay ways. Please try to limit the size of your picture to (approximately) 320 pixels in the horizontal direction. This is especially difficult for users who have a small screen. When you've edited a reach, please go in and look at it. Resize the window a bunch of times, essentially puttting yourself in the viewers' place.<br><br>
<br>
<br>
All these <br>'s are what happens when you edit text which has been entered before, and click on "text" rather than on "HTML." The HTML tags show up, in all their ugliness. Next time you edit the Reach Description, click on "HTML" and the uglies will go away.<br><br>
<br>
What else is missing, or incorrect?
<br>
Well...there's no zip code, and there's no EPA HUC number. That means that there's no integrated weather report, and the stream shows up as "unknown" when the streams in the state are sorted by drainage.
<br>
There is a gage, but I clicked on "flow," even though the gage only reports in feet. Whoops!
<br>
What else isn't working right?
<br>
Here's one: the Topo and Tiger maps are giving bizarre results. Why? Because one of the longitudes is a nonnegative number! Please be very careful to avoid typos when inputting the lat/longitude coordinates! And please check the maps before updating them.
