River Description

This is basically a long class I river with a lot of strainers to negotiate. There are two rapids in the middle of the run, class III. The level has to be up, too, to warrant running them. The water is warm and there is a lot of good wildlife to check out.
Small, easy rapids from 302 to Pope Rd. After Pope Rd. there is a nice class-III drop (6-ft double ledge). The next rapid is another ledge drop with a nice hole.

Rapid Descriptions

Pope Road Rapid (Class III, Mile 2.0)

The first of two threes on this otherwise Class-I run, this 6-foot double ledge appears after Pope Road. The next III is a ledge drop with a nice hole.
The level needs to be high for these two to be worth running.
