Gauge Description:

Visual at the last rapid, off NC 9 above the Hwy 74 bridge.

There is an AFWS gauge on the HWY 64 bridge, and a USGS gauge. These gauges read very differently.

Around 3.5 on the USGS gauge should be considered a minimum. It's common to look for better than 4.5 on AWFS Gauge 1917.
